Industrial Automation d.o.o. originated from the local office of JNE Automation, a control system integrator established in Smederevo in 2008 as a branch of the Joe Ng group of companies. It was founded at the request of US Steel Smederevo to provide engineering services and technical support for the development and reconstruction of the Smederevo steel plant. In 2014, following a management decision, JNE Automation withdrew its presence from Europe to focus on the Central American market.

Industrial Automation d.o.o. was established in Belgrade in 2014 by engineers with years of industry experience, following their return from the JNE Automation office in Smederevo. The goal was to maintain contact and continue servicing clients in the country and surrounding regions, with whom strong business and technical relationships had been developed, while laying a solid foundation for entering new markets. In this regard, Industrial Automation d.o.o. became the official representative and contractor for JNE LTD from Canada. Shortly after becoming independent, Industrial Automation d.o.o. began working on various industrial projects both domestically and in the surrounding region.

The Industrial Automation team consists of managers and engineers from various business and engineering fields, bringing a wealth of experience to the company with strong, diverse qualifications, developmental capabilities, and an entrepreneurial spirit. This expertise and broad range of interests consistently create opportunities for new areas of engagement and challenges. Our team competently handles all phases necessary for the successful completion of projects, including preliminary studies, project design, construction, project management, implementation, and final commissioning. Since we focus on long-term relationships with our clients, services such as maintenance, support, preventive, and emergency repairs are a given.

We primarily focus on the following activities: :
– Designing power supply, monitoring, control, and management systems at low and medium voltage levels
– Integrating Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Distributed Control Systems (DCS). The integration includes adaptations of existing systems as well as the development of completely new systems, encompassing the creation of both hardware and software platforms.
– AC and DC drive systems, servo drives, and control systems
– Supervisory control and data acquisition systems (SCADA)
– Panel construction and system installation for “turnkey” projects (Computer Integrated Manufacturing Systems)
– Machine/Process Design
– Pneumatic and Hydraulic Systems
– Design and integration of control systems for robotic systems in industrial plants
– Assembly of Machines and Equipment
– Project management and on-site supervision to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective job completion
– Commissioning, startup services, and troubleshooting on-site
– Drawing and Design Services
– Adaptation and translation of project and technical documentation into multiple languages (Serbian, English, Italian, Slovak, Russian)

In addition to the activities mentioned above, we have secured exclusive distribution rights for equipment, across the Balkans and beyond, from the following manufacturers:

After the initial contact, the Industrial Automation team begins intensive communication with the client, aiming to gather as much information as possible to establish preliminary project guidelines. Following this, a team of experts, as needed, communicates with and visits the client to arrive at an optimal and efficient solution that encompasses the technological, economic, and time aspects of the project. Once all details are aligned with the client, the process moves on to design, implementation, and commissioning.
